Bronze Glory: Noah Lyles’ Resilient Run at Paris 2024
This artwork encapsulates the strength, resilience, and dynamic energy that Noah Lyles brought to the track during the Paris 2024 Olympics. By combining multiple shots of Lyles in action with his post-race celebration, I aimed to depict the full arc of his experience—from the intense focus of competition to the triumphant pride of representing his country. The gradient of green, yellow, and blue symbolizes the phases of his journey, from preparation to execution and finally, celebration.

Noah Lyles, born on July 18, 1997, in Gainesville, Florida, is one of the most dominant sprinters of his generation. Lyles entered the Paris 2024 Olympics with high expectations, having already claimed gold in the 100m earlier in the Games. However, in the 200m, he faced stiff competition and, despite his best efforts, secured the bronze medal with a time of 19.70 seconds. This result marked his second Olympic bronze in the 200m, following his bronze in Tokyo 2020. The race was won by Letsile Tebogo of Botswana, with Lyles' teammate Kenneth Bednarek taking silver.
The colors used in the artwork—particularly the gradient from green to blue—reflect the calm yet intense nature of Lyles’ racing strategy. The green signifies growth and preparation, the yellow symbolizes the energy of the race, and the blue represents the calmness and poise he maintains even under pressure.
This artwork is a tribute to Noah Lyles' resilience and skill, highlighting not just his athletic prowess but the determination that drives him to succeed, even when the odds are tough. It serves as a reminder that every race is a journey, and every medal earned is a testament to hard work, discipline, and heart.
