$10,999.00 $10,999.00

This artwork encapsulates the energy, emotion, and triumph of Jasmine Moore’s incredible performance at the Paris 2024 Olympics. The image layers multiple moments from her long jump, highlighting the physical and emotional intensity that led to her winning the bronze medal. My intention was to portray the sense of motion and determination in her performance, blending the action with the vibrant colors that symbolize the passion and dynamism of the Olympic spirit.

Jasmine Moore, born on May 1, 2001, in Grand Prairie, Texas, has established herself as one of the most versatile and accomplished jumpers in track and field. A seven-time NCAA champion, Moore made history at the Paris 2024 Olympics by winning bronze in both the long jump and the triple jump, becoming the first American woman to medal in both events at a single Olympics. Her journey to this achievement was marked by years of dedication, starting from her high school days through her stellar college career at the University of Florida, where she set multiple records.

The colors in this artwork are not random; they are carefully chosen to reflect the excitement and pride of Moore’s accomplishments. The bright reds, oranges, and pinks represent the energy and fire of competition, while the cooler blues and purples add a sense of depth and calm, balancing the intensity of the moment. These colors together create a visual representation of the highs and lows, the sweat and tears, that athletes like Jasmine experience on their Olympic journeys.

Moore’s bronze in the Women’s Long Jump came with a best leap of 6.84 meters, a mark that secured her place on the podium behind fellow American Tara Davis-Woodhall, who won gold. Moore’s performance at the Paris Games was not just about the medals but also about her trailblazing role in U.S. track and field. Overcoming challenges along the way, she has consistently pushed the boundaries of what’s possible, setting new standards for future generations of athletes.

This artwork celebrates not just a moment, but the journey of an extraordinary athlete whose story continues to inspire. It reflects the emotions of victory and the legacy that Jasmine Moore is building with every leap she takes.
