Eternal Flow: The Heart of Nature

The starry night sky above is not just a backdrop but a reminder of the universe beyond our planet. The stars are ancient, unchanging, yet they appear to us as flickers of light in the vast darkness. I wanted to show how nature, much like the stars, is constant yet ever-changing. The night sky represents the infinite, the unknown, and our place within a much larger story—one that stretches far beyond human history.

The sunrise and sunset at the lower part of the image represent the cycle of life and time. Each day begins with a sunrise, full of hope and possibilities, and ends with the peace and reflection of a sunset. The warm, vibrant hues of the sunset and the cooler tones of the sunrise reflect the duality of life—the moments of fiery energy and the times of calm reflection. This cycle is nature's way of reminding us that life is a continuous flow, filled with beginnings and endings, each one beautiful in its own way.

The swirling abstract light patterns that dominate the composition are a visual metaphor for the energy that flows through all living things. The Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area, with its rich history and breathtaking landscapes, was the perfect inspiration for this piece. It’s a place where time feels infinite, where the flow of the river mirrors the flow of life, and where every sunrise and sunset brings the promise of a new beginning.
